The challenge
For Diet Doctor to take the next step on our journey, we want to increase people's trust in us as a company and a brand. This includes building an awareness of our company that will increase our membership and help us recruit even more of the best people in the world. This will be the challenge you'll be working on along with the rest of the team - getting us smart publicity in a trustworthy way.
What you'll do
- Strengthen our brand by getting Diet Doctor significant outreach in worldwide and trustworthy media. Effectively pitch stories to various media outlets.
- Get Diet Doctor the right kind of publicity to help attract top talent to our Stockholm office.
- Develop strategy and copy for product and marketing campaigns, as well as brand and PR communications.
- Arrange interviews and appearances for company executives and health experts.
- Identify and pitch key conferences and events at which DD should have a presence, and make the necessary preparations to ensure our presence there becomes successful.
- Manage agencies abroad to increase our visibility in the US.

- You have a proven track record of establishing a brand in digital media through effective communications.
- You have an extensive list of trustworthy media contacts.
- You have the ability to write persuasively and distill lots of facts into key messages.
- You're smart, driven, highly organized, hard-working, and have experience managing partnerships with international PR agencies.
- You believe in the importance of our values: trustworthiness, simplicity, inspiration and goodness.
- You have a strong desire to do something meaningful.
- You love to work independently and to get things done fast while maintaining consistently high standards.
- You thrive in a fast-paced and unstructured environment. You're a strong storyteller and you build cases with data.
- Your written and spoken English skills are excellent. Swedish is a plus.
- You are any age, nationality, gender identification, religion, etc. We welcome a diversity of people, backgrounds and experiences.
- An existing list of media contacts and the ability to quickly cultivate new ones is a plus.

This is a full-time position, working primarily from our beautiful and airy headquarters in Stockholm, at Vasagatan 40, just opposite the Central Station. (Please note: due to COVID, most of us work from home at the moment. If you have antibodies and feel comfortable, please work from the office. Some of us do.)
